So it’s been 17 days since the site has been set up.
In these 17 days, I’ve also heard folks telling me that I shouldn’t reveal the actual URLs of sites as they will be de-indexed very quickly as soon as Google hears of it.
I heard that’s what happened to Brad Fallon’s wildly popular Wedding Favours site, which he showcased during the launch of Stompernet. And that was supposed to be a site that earned more than a million dollars a year.
Anyway, here’s the status of the site so far:

Looks pretty good eh? Especially considering the fact that it took me less than an hour, including learning time!
I could easily set up ten of these in a day, let their rankings grow, then come back in a month to sell them off. And I would probably have made a little bit off affiliate sales and Adsense clicks in the meantime.
Talk about turbo-charged website flipping.
*Update: I’m posting this one day after I wrote it, and Google seems to be eating up my pages at an alarming rate. Check it out.
